Chalk Hill Ranch is a private equestrian and horse boarding facility located in the serene hills of Sonoma County. Only twenty minutes from Santa Rosa, we are in the heart of wine country in Healdsburg, CA. We have been around for over 30 years providing a quality boarding facility for all disciplines of riding. Chalk Hill Ranch is the only facility that has direct access to over 300 acres of private horse trails in Sonoma County. Our horses are happy here, and who could blame them? We have boarded here for about a year and a half. The owner is committed to consistent maintenance and improvements (tho it's near perfect!). The manager, Taylor, puts horses first, as it should be. She is hardworking, trustworthy, kind and loving. This place is a gem.

We have boarded our horse at three stables and this one is by far the most well kept, beautiful and reasonably priced barn. The general manager, Taylor is great and our instructor, Jazmin, (who we highly recommend!) are responsive and excellent in their profession. We love this community and look forward to having our daughter grow with Chalk Hill.

Because my horse and his daily experience is such a high priority for me, I first had to ensure that I found a proper home for him and then I could find my own home. Finding Chalk Hill Ranch was one of the best experiences I have had in the 17 years With my horse.

Hi everyone! It’s Naomi, the new barn manager at Chalk Hill Ranch.

I started riding as a child and never found something else I loved more. I have been professionally working with horses for more than 5 years, at multiple barns as well as under a performance trainer. Before making this my career, I often helped around the barn for riding time or just to hang with the horses longer. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know each of you (horse and human.)
